In a joyous contribution to the project, singer and songwriter Angela Martin sounds a rallying cry - with a killer beat - as she introduces her song Wake Up. The song is about togetherness, inspired by among other things, the Women's March and is a great piece for International Women's Weekend.
Angela Martin is a singer, songwriter and guitarist for South London disco punk band, Bugeye. She is also the co-founder, along side her wife Julia Woollams, of arts and cultural blog, the Croydonist (which you can hear all about in a previous 100 voices for 100 years post).
