What we asked the writers to do....

Heard the fantastic stories and want to know the inspiration behind them? Here's a bit about the brief we gave them.

The Directions...

The project is open to any female identifying writers (script writers, storytellers, songwriters, playwrights, poets, authors, memoirists...) who have a personal connection to the UK.

Writers should craft a piece inspired by the theme "something I have achieved" or "a time I found my voice."

Write and practice the piece (if you have time - we all have lives!)

Record it on your phone or computer.

Email 100voices100years@gmail.com with a biography and photo - of something personal or an image of the writer.

The story is uploaded to the website.
