"It has my real name, my birth name, written neatly in black ink, from back when I wrote with such things as fountain pens."

Amy Foster tells us about a childhood almanac that has escaped the myriad book culls over the years and how rediscovering it years later, she realises that its presence in her life may have been more than physical.

Amy lives in Croydon and is a teacher, performer and one of the co-founders of Croydon Cycle Theatre, a community group aiming to get more people out and about on their bikes whilst showcasing new, local
writing. She wants to do all she can to celebrate the centenary the Representation of the Peoples Act and is thrilled that this now includes her first ever podcast.
